Chromecast is fine. Remote isn't great, Onn's is better. I disabled the Tivo apps for the Stream 4k. Seems to be pretty good now that I don't have to worry about hitting the Tivo buttons. I'm now looking at the Mecool KM2. Same remote as the Onn 4k but I think it is more stable. And Ethernet jack without an adapter.
I just paired a fire tv remote to the stream, no more tivo buttons, imo much better. I had the stick with it so I set it up for to control the tv first - power, volume and mute. Any android tv remote should work fine. I have a 650, but never really jelled to it and just prefer the Tivo remote's design.

Aug 17, 2023 · Wonder if anyone can help please. I have three TiVo 4k sticks and two are fine but one just won't reconnect to the remote. I've tried mixing the remotes but this one TiVo stick just won't reconnect. I factory reset the said remote but nothing I do will work. I've even factory reset the stick itself.
The TiVo stream remote is super nice but the TV setup keeps reverting to something called W Box Technologies? I can’t get the setup to stick.
